MONTGOMERY, Ala., Sept. 21 — The Alabama Farmers Federation has expanded its leadership role in the Alabama Junior Beef Expo held annually in March. “Livestock shows are one of the best ways for young people to develop responsibility and leadership skills,” said Federation President Jimmy Parnell. “We have sponsored and coordinated the showmanship contests at the Expo for the last five years, and we are excited about managing the entire show.” The Alabama Junior Beef Expo, set for March 15-17, is the premier youth cattle show in the state.
